- Cans, foil, and trays
- Plastic #1 through #7 and beverage rings
- Discard the caps.
- No bags or uncoded plastics.
- Make sure your address is on your recycling bin.
- If you move, leave the recycling bin for the next homeowner.
- Preparing your recycling bin for collection
- Veolia ES requests that you separate the paper/fiber products from the glass, cans and plastic (co-mingled products).
- This can be done in one of the following ways, depending on how much you recycle.
- Place all paper products into paper grocery bags.
- Put all rigid co-mingled loosely inside the recycling bin.
- Or, place all paper products loose in the bottom of the recycling bin, and then fill paper grocery bags with the rigid co-mingled products.
- Place the paper bag on top of the paper products to prevent them from blowing around.
- If you have a lot of recycling items, you may use two recycling bins, one for paper products and one for plastic, cans and glass products.
- Whichever way you decide to sort your recycling, be sure to secure it from the wind.
- Overflowing bins and bags cause most of the wind blown litter problems.
- Use additional paper bags or bins.
- Flattened cardboard should be placed under your bin.
- Place your bin out for collection by 7:00 AM on the scheduled date to avoid missed service.
- Items we cannot collect
- Toys, shirt hangers, metal parts, diapers, pizza boxes, plastic bags, Styrofoam peanuts, light bulbs, plate glass, Pyrex, ceramic glass, pesticide containers, or any containers that contain oil or antifreeze.
