  5. Preparing your recycling bin for collection
    1. Veolia ES requests that you separate the paper/fiber products from the glass, cans and plastic (co-mingled products).
      1. This can be done in one of the following ways, depending on how much you recycle.
        1. Place all paper products into paper grocery bags.
          1. Put all rigid co-mingled loosely inside the recycling bin.
        2. Or, place all paper products loose in the bottom of the recycling bin, and then fill paper grocery bags with the rigid co-mingled products.
          1. Place the paper bag on top of the paper products to prevent them from blowing around.
        3. If you have a lot of recycling items, you may use two recycling bins, one for paper products and one for plastic, cans and glass products.
    2. Whichever way you decide to sort your recycling, be sure to secure it from the wind.
      1. Overflowing bins and bags cause most of the wind blown litter problems.
      2. Use additional paper bags or bins.
      3. Flattened cardboard should be placed under your bin.
    3. Place your bin out for collection by 6:30 AM on the scheduled date to avoid missed service.

  6. Items we cannot collect
    1. Toys, shirt hangers, metal parts, diapers, pizza boxes, plastic bags, Styrofoam peanuts, light bulbs, plate glass, Pyrex, ceramic glass, pesticide containers, or any containers that contain oil or antifreeze.

      1. This material may not be mixed with household trash or recyclables
    2. Yardwaste may be placed in 30-gallon biodegradable paper bags, and placed at the curb for collection.
    3. All brush must be bundled and secured with twine.
